A love that spans cross country, these two love birds met while attending Indiana University. Before their lakeside engagement in Southern Indiana, Kennedy Bruner and Liam Cronin were friends for a while. One fateful night at house party, something felt different to them both. Kennedy was dancing terribly and Liam had to stop her and help her out. They ended up laughing the rest of the night and realizing what they were both missing—each other. The couple hasn’t stopped making each other laugh since and Kennedy knows now that Liam will always help out her terrible dancing.
Now in their summer wedding of white and gold set for later this week in Bloomington, there is one detail that the couple is simply ecstatic for: “We both are really excited about having [our] people from California, Indiana, and Nebraska all unite in the same place! ,” Kennedy said. Liam, being from the West Coast, and Kennedy, growing up in Indiana have their loved ones spread out. “It was my Birthday so I had no idea what was going to happen. Liam took me to our favorite spot on Lake Monroe. He packed a picnic and set up small bonfire! We sat there and talked forever about what our future might look like! And then he led me to a rock ledge that looked out onto the lake and he asked if I would marry him!
